Welcome to my Portfolio! I cannot wait to show you bit about myself. I've been interested in music my entire  life and have never really had any specific taste. I like anything from rap to musicals! I've played multiple instruments since I was young and still continue to play. I was born in South Africa in 1996 and my family moved to Australia in 1998. I graduated school in Perth, Western Australia  in 2013 and after taking a year off studies, I started a double degree in Psychology and Addiction Studies in 2015. In 2016 I finally was ready to take my love for music to the next level and create a future with it. I applied for a Bachelor of Audio at SAE Institute in Perth, Western Australia and in 2017 this new and exciting journey became a reality.

I am a family and friends orientated person and would do anything for the people I love and care about. I care deeply about anything sound and music related  and give my all to any project that I am a part of. I have been lucky enough to have had a variety of different work experiences outside of the audio discipline and have gained different knowledge and skills which I believe will have a positive effect in working in the audio discipline. I have been a leader in a world-wide education youth movement for the past 3 years and have had the opportunity to be the head of education for 3 of the major camps that are run each year. As well as that, I was lucky enough to be voted into the position of being the head director of 1 of the major camps which allowed me to gain a huge range of leadership, communication, logistical and teamwork skills.

I believe that these skills will allow me to be able to work effectively with different artists and colleagues that I will come across in my professional life.

I am old fashioned when it comes to music. I still love buying hard copy CDs of new and old albums and can spend hours in a CD or record store. My favourite part about music is how it can make you feel something that cannot be described. Nothing else in the world can make you feel that same feeling. Whether you are musically talented or just like to listen to the radio, I truly believe that every single person out there has that one favourite song that gives them that feeling. Music has been with me through every single period in my life, and I am truly lucky to be able to be in the position where I am able to create, work with different artists, musicians and bands and share my work with the world.

I hope that one day I will be able to increase my music knowledge  in London or New York. That would be a truly amazing achievement and is something that I am constantly working towards. Until then, I'll embrace every opportunity I can and meet as many different people I can, to learn from. There is no end to the world of music, and I am excited to be part of it.
